MBA “Selling Yourself” Program

This is a long-standing successful program of the Career Management Center at the Johnson School. In partnership with the Career Management Center, we have designed a process requiring the students to:

• Attend workshops to learn key concepts of effective self-marketing techniques and receive printed materials for further study.
• View - on the Johnson School intranet - a video of the “Selling Yourself” experience conducted by NovAspire, Inc.
• Prepare for an actual “mock” interview by following the key concepts of the workshops, printed material and the intranet video.
• Go through a behavioral interview experience facilitated by NovAspire, Inc. coaches, in the presence of a small group of other Johnson colleagues.
• Receive feedback and suggestions from the coaches and their colleagues.
• Review the videotape on their own time after the class and incorporate the suggestions from the feedback to improve their ability to sell themselves.
